15" Kicker L7 Question

I've got a question for any of the huddletariat that are into car audio. I've got two 2-ohm DVC 15" Kicker L7's that are rated @ 1,000w RMS each. I saw Amazon was selling the 2,000w Hifonics Brutus that is rated @ 1,300w RMS at a pretty decent price right now. I'm fairly knowledgeable in car audio, but have never used Hifonics. I hear Hifonics is notorious (like most other brands too, I suppose) for over-rating their amps, while Kicker is CEA compliant and actually underrates their stuff. So I guess my question is:

Does anyone with Hifonics experience think that Hifonics amp will be a good match for my subs wired @ 2-ohms?
