dude don't start any crap with me. Did i give an opinion on the issue? Its the offseason for the Panthers. I didn't care who won. My team isn't in it, so when i come across interesting football news, im going to post it. If you don't like it I really don't care. but get off my back.

I'm with you on that. I got your back.

Mike Perera is retiring in a few months, no reason for him to lie.

Just another show of how the refs fail in the biggest games.

Even the best can make a mistake now and again, but there were some play calling on both sides that made me scratch my head. It may be better for the game for everything to be in real time. No slow motion cameras, period.

SJ, and esp. DBIG, you guys are really beginning to make me hate anything "Saintly".

The Vikings got jobbed, point blank. As opposed to trying to skew everything into jealousy and hate, be smart enough to be silent and accept your good fortune with class. I know it's hard...but leave yourselves with that little inkling of credibility that you have left. The rest has been lost by trolling our forum.

That they admitted the non-call was wrong, along with the roughing the passer missed in the Jets/Colts game, to me is huge. It's probably the 80/20 rule through the whole game. Maybe they'll include non-calls in red flag reviews and we can look forward to 6 hour games. :P

Brees didn't get the same exact flag that Favre got when the Saints D put a lick on him with that end around. same exact plays, same exact hits, totally different outcome..

Vikings didn't get any more screwed than the Saints...

You got to be joking right? I saw 4 to 5 calls on the final drive that if one of them had gone the Vikings way the game was over in favor of the Vikings.

Hell go look at ESPN and you will see the refs admitted blowing that call that New Orleans intercepted on. And they fined an Aints player 20K for 2 cheap shots.

I thought that game was going to go either way... Truthfully, it didn't matter to me. I was able to watch the game a second time around. One good thing about AFN. New Orleans had way too many cheap shots on Farve. I could see letting one go but there were numerous cheap shots especially the 1st INT.

Anyways it is game over. But clearly Minnesota didn't get any calls in that game.

The Vikings got a lot of calls... So no, I'm not joking. Saints didn't get 4 or 5 cheap shots. If you feel that way, then we will have to just disagree. The QB is allowed to get hit. Apparently, the Vikings are allowed to take cheap shots as well? As Brees was hit in the very situation Favre was. Both happened in back to back sets of downs. Favre got the call, Brees didn't. Both plays were end-arounds.

Yes, the Saints player deserves to get fined for the knee thing, but if you expect the guy to stop playing- you're insane. People are so easily caught up in this new NFL rule that they forget the defensive players can't do anything to play the game anymore.

The fine is deserved. But it was not a cheap shot. He isn't going to stop until the whistle is blown. Any player to quit on a play is a player I do not want. The RT shouldn't be allowed to put the defensive player in a position where he is at knee level.. Make it fair. The guy didn't line up and aim at Favre's knee. He was put to the ground and kept playing, getting after the QB. It's unfortunate that he was only able to make a play that happened to be at knee level. So I completely disagree with your assessment about a cheap shot.

I don't know about you all... but I want my defense putting licks on the QB every play. That is crucial to a good defense...

The Saints got a lot of penalties, and not all were deserved... The Refs also missed a lot of calls that would have went in the Saints favor. I disagree that any missed calls were an excuse after that being said.
