NFL VP of Officiating admits the refs missed a key call in NFC Championship game

Wasn't it obvious that the Vikings weren't going to get an opportunity to win that game.

Yes, it is clearly the refs who threw that pic with 20 ticks left, it was the refs who lined up with 12 men in the huddle, it was he refs who weren't physical enough to stop the Saints on 4th and 1, etc.

I won't deny that there were questionable calls and we got somewhat lucky(luck is a part of the game), but the Vikings had plenty of chances to win. Some of you are making more excuses than the Vikings fans themselves, who are putting the blame where it belongs, (Childress).

Maybe we could just dig a hole below sea level and move Charlotte there. Then when it inevitably floods we'll act shocked and become the next "feel good" story. That way we can hit opposing qbs low and draw pass interference on balls thrown 15 yards past the wr.

How is this relavent to the officiating? Or does your sour grapes have to be thrown into every thread?

And some wonder why I hate these 2 idiots, this would be a perfect example. However, we want a "variety" of fans here at the "Huddle", so deal with it! Colts fans are urged to join us in "Ban a Saint" campaign! My favorite slogan... "Get that Horseshoe out ya ass"!

pussy post son....keep looking for excuses boy

If some of you 'Aints fans don't like it, why the hell are you posting on a Panthers forum then?? If you don't like it, get the hell out of here. No one force you immature kids to post here/

And it laughable some of you guys call us "sour grapes". Yeah, like some of you trolls were ever quite the "sour grapes" when we were more successful than you in just 8 yrs. compare to your 4 decades of sucking. Give me a break!

Who cares about the Saints fans being on their high horse. They are the fourty-year guy that just lost his virginity and now he thinks he's the cock of the walk. They've been in loser denial for so long but they'll realize no one gives a poo about them getting their cherry popped because everyone has fuged or been fuging for years.

fair enough old man; thought it was a sour grapes type deal...

Your team is in the Superbowl and the best you can come up with is to live on another team's message board.

Fine that the Saints won. Congrats to the team and the city.

But, you are still the biggest loser I have seen.

SaintJ and Bodybag had been visiting our board for years. They both add an interesting perspective on many topics. They are educated and informed football fans. Even though they are opposing fans, we still respect them in many ways. Sure, both have their ultra homer moments, but we all do. I chalk most of their homer rants up to being excited their team has made it to the big one....I remember how that felt in 2003-2004.

You, on the other hand, are pathetic. You can't add anything intelligent to say....so you just sling sad elementary schoolyard insults.

Please slither back into the bayou swamp. You are an embarassment to football fans everywhere....even Saints fans.

hahahahaha, jealousy morphs into rage and name calling....classic

Hmm, yea classic, you start the thread off by name calling and then when someone bitches at you it's jealousy.

You Saints fans cannot tell me that if Brees was hit in the way Warner and Favre were that you wouldn't be screaming bloody murder. Give me a flunking break, Brees takes a high low hit that isn't called and you guys would be on this board day and night posting about how the officiating was terrible.

Am I jealous that your franchise is in the Super Bowl? Absolutely. But every time people raise a question on AN OPPOSING TEAM'S board about your team it isn't always jealousy.

Grade-A WIN here. Never said better.

If the 'aints win 44 by less than 7 points, I'm going to call the game rigged on these premises. (a TD or more will give it a modicum of credibilty)
