Because he plays a leadership position long thought to be entitled to white athletes in the NFL. Its really no different with McNabb, Moon, McNair, etc., black quarterbacks are seen and judged differently than their white peers.

If anyone wanted a glimpse into the strong undying hatred blacks faced during Jim Crow times, they would just need to read your posts about Vick and towards me.

lmfao comparing Vick to McNabb, Moon, and McNair. Ask anyone around and almost all will say those 3 were really good quarterbacks. Much different from Vick who sucks as a QB.

I think it's borderline insulting that anyone would try to compare a never-was like Vick to them. All three of those quarterbacks were of historical significance and have 30,000+ yards passing a piece. When you compare Vick's career to those three, he's just a joke. He's a poor man's Kordell Stewart. Room temperature passer rating, poo completion percentage, and lots of turnovers.

Why? All 4 are black which means we would never draft or go after any of them. The Panthers would've converted Moon to a WR to catch Jake Delhomme's duck passes.

We get it yall think Vick sucks, he's a thug, he's the N-word, he never beat the Panthers, he's taking a roster spot away from some white boy. We get it. But the fact is, alot of people look up to and admire Vick. A lot of people still support him and he is apart of the black QB fraternity whether you hatemongers like it or not. I think its borderline racist our fanbase will tolerate Jake Delhomme throwing 18 picks and getting 12 mill for it, but cant tolerate a black man enough to make him our quarterback of the future.

I've gone on record many times as being anti-Delhomme. I would love for McNabb or Garrard to come here. I would take them anyone in our current QB stable in a heartbeat. I don't think Vick is much of an upgrade, that's it. It has nothing to do with his color.
