Matt Moores scouting report

Was bored so I decided to check out what scouts said about Moore a few years ago.

"Position: QB

Class: Sr

School: Oregon State

Conference: Pacific-10

Ht.: 6-3.5

Wt.: 195

40 Time: 4.85

BIOGRAPHY: Full-time starter the past two seasons, throwing for 60.6%/3,022/18/7 as a senior.

POSITIVES: Athletic passer who displayed a much-improved game last season. Sells the ball fakes, displays a sense of timing and can throw on the move. Puts touch on throws when necessary, laying the pass in front of targets.

NEGATIVES: Forces the ball into covered receivers. Average arm strength. Holds the ball too long in the pocket and misses open wideouts.

ANALYSIS: A good athlete who does a terrific job leading the offense, Moore has possibilities as a backup in a West Coast system.

PROJECTION: Undrafted Free Agent"

interesting read nonetheless.

That seems pretty accurate considering the wide open guys he's missed and his sometimes innacurate deep ball. He hasn't taken sacks or forced the ball too much. He did make a lot of dumb passes in the pats game, and early in the vikes game.
