Dawn Staley, who played for the Sting, was really sweet when I met her.

Nicest: ( kinda in the order I met them) Michael Jordan, Mugsy bogues, Brentson Buckner, Dwill and Dan Morgan.( Dan tops the list just because he's such a down to earth guy)

Not so nicest...I have not met any that have been total jerks to me...guess I'm lucky

I mail sports cards to Panther's/Bobcats/Hornets homes.

I sent Mugsy 4 cards and he sent me back 8 all signed by him. Jake Delhomme always signs anything I send him. Bernie Bickerstaff signs for me as well. Wesley Walls is great as well.

Nick Goins did as well, but it took him a year to do it.

Peppers, Okafor or Mohammad all wouldn't sign for me. Though Mohammad did sign at an opening in Gastonia of a Best Buy.

Just the way he treats people like interns and media types. I admire the way he stands up to guys on other teams, but don't yell at an intern who's just doing his job. And don't make an ass of yourself at the end of the interview hour every Wed. and Thurs.

I think Steve Smith has the lil man complex..Sometimes you see it in shorter guys they are just very aggressive all the time.

If I had to pick one "nicest", I'd probably have to go with Brad Hoover. Very close second would be Jake Delhomme. I'd add that Matt Moore, Ryan Kalil, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, and Tom Seaver all make the list of "nice guys". Throw in John Fox if you count coaches.

On the flipside, well...I'd have to admit I haven't really had that negative an experience with anyone directly. The closest I've come to something like that was watching Wahoo McDaniel be a jerk to some kids who were big wrestling fans.

My ex-wife went to Ohio state with Eddie George, Orlando Pace and former (temporary) Panther Matt Finkes. She considered all of them to be good guys. Joe Germaine, on the other hand, she called the biggest jerk she'd ever met.

i was talking to a manager of a furniture store in charlotte about being a panthers fan. he said he came in on his day off (sunday) and opened the store specifically for smith and his wife. smith's request was that no one would be there to bother him. well the manager brought his boys because he couldn't leave them home alone (i think they were like 8 and 10). when smith saw the boys in the store, he said, "i told you not to bring anyone." and then he walked out.

pretty shitty thing to do when someone opens the store for your convenience out of his goodwill. not a thank you. nothing. just a snide comment and an expeditious exit.
