Another Matt Moore Article (Panthers.com)

We have a guy who used to work there. I think he knows a thing or two about how they operate when it comes to information.

The notion that, logic be damned, John Fox is going to start Jake Delhomme no matter what is just silly. He's not a fool. He didn't believe in Moore before, but Moore went out and proved it on the field. Add in that he's in the last year of his contract and wasn't offered an extension for a reason. He's not going to short circuit himself just to start a guy he likes personally.

I hate to break it to you but the FO and the coaching staff don't pay any attention to what's being written on the website. If fox had any control over this then there would be no articles written about the qbs unless it was all pro jake. We all want to believe that matt moore will be the starter next year. But you guys are really reaching here

If John Fox does name Moore the starter next season, will you leave? Please say yes.

The notion that fox and hurney are going to take time out of their busy schedule scouting college players to tell this writer to make sure you say good things about matt moore is just laughable. Seriously just think about how stupid this theory sounds. Its not crazy at all to think that its jakes job to lose after they invested so much money in him.

Pretty weak response :nonod:

First off, not like a phone call to say one thing takes forever to make. Seriously, how difficult is it to say "we want to focus more on matt and less on Jake"? People talk like it takes an act of congress

More to the point, the positive spin articles started weeks ago (check the dates on the links) well before team officials headed down to scout the Senior Bowl.

Do you really want to defend the idea that the Panthers just allow their main online info guys to wing it and print whatever they feel like saying? I seriously doubt any NFL team does that.

You really think that they would actually would the time to call this writer and tell him what to write? You really actually believe that they even pay any attention to what's written on panthers.com? Really? Seriously?

Nope. I'm sure the team and its officials have no concern whatsoever about the content and messages presented on the site that bears their name and image

I'd be willing to bet money fox and hurney have never even seen the site before. They have far more on their plate to worry about than what articles are written about their players on panthers.com. The people who run the site are the only ones who worry about that stuff. But I think its hilarious that you really believe that. Lmao
