They lost their bid to the Jaguars, of course.

The league originally wanted the Panthers to have purple as one of their team colors. Jerry balked.

I was having this discussion with one of my friends sometime last week. I dont know, lol. I like the Panthers.

Now, I would probably move them to Raleigh or the Triad, so I wouldnt have to make that long drive every Sunday morning during the season.

So, I guess I would call them the Raleigh Panthers, but if they went to the Triad I'd keep Carolina Panthers lol.
