The case for DeAngelo as MVP....

I think the case was made when adallastiger told us Williams was a great back. And boy did he tell us. Do you all remember him telling us, cause he did.

If he didn't, we be cellar dwellers right now so you guys better thank him. I'm talking large amounts of cash and your unmarried daughters. Maybe a few head of cattle too.

my guess is Williams doesn't want any awards since it would focus more attention on him and not the teams effort..

but I bet his agent wants wants to see some awards to get some contract escalators if he has any..

the big question is..does Williams play and work ethic make everyone on the team want to play to his level? If the answer is yes then he is the MVP at least of this team..

Williams should be CONSIDERED for MVP but honestly i think there are others more deserving, the work he has done is outstanding and deserves to be mentioned in the runnings

but he won't get it because he has been splitting carries, it would almost be like stewart and williams would have to be splitting the award(which just might happen next year;))

while williams gets the majority, the carries he doesn't get allow him to stay fresher which is a great luxury

at least thats the way i think other fans outside of the panthers look at it

...no, you have it all wrong. Personally, I think Matt Ryan deserves MVP... but I do believe DeAngelo should be somewhere top three. But a strong case can be made for Deangelo

I don't understand all the Matt Ryan for MVP love. Turner is clearly the most valuable part of the Falcons team.

He should at least get some votes, but due to everyone in the media thinking that Jonathan Stewart is more than a backup; Deangelo probably can't win.

wow.

please explain how an offseason prediction that hasn't been talked about since the beginning of the season has anything to with someone's chances of being an mvp candidate.

I really dont see how Manning should be such a much better choice than Williams....The Panthers and Colts have the same record, with us actually winning the division. Manning, as a f*cking QB, only has 7 more TD's than Williams.....and Williams turned the ball over 0 times.

Im sure the national Manning dick riding will continue and he will win, but its not right.

Peterson and Ryan as MVP is a f*cking joke. How can a guy who fumbled the ball 9 times be considered for the MVP? Had Williams had the same amount of carries as Peterson he would have had over 2000 yards and like 30 TD's. No, I didnt do the math, so dont try and be a smart ass.....im just making a point.

And Ryan is a rookie, who had a decent season, and was backed by a great RB. There should be no way in hell that he is the MVP.....Jake or Smitty should be considered if Ryan is.

How do you figure that?

1,515 yards

5.5yards/avg

Total TD's 20

No fumbles...

That isn't split between Williams and Stewart. That's all Williams, and those numbers should be considered for MVP.

Stewart has his own numbers... and only split the carries, not the rest. I don't understand how this has anything to do with Williams' numbers...

Edit: Perhaps you're just saying that's how outsiders look at it. But I think that just goes to show how much Panthers get disrespected...
