Which (in theory) is probably why we traded up to get someone this year. Everyone else is gonna be stuck in middle of the pack land while some poor schom picks #23. @Growlhas always been right that you have to take a swing at some point.

I was in favor of trading up, but I wanted to trade defensive players for the ammo. Going up to get a QB you think can be a franchise guy is a great idea. I just don't like that the cupboard is bare on offense (we're counting on Chuba) and it didn't have to be this way.

You're comparing two different sh*t piles by applying revisionist history. There's this or there's giving up 35 first half points to the Bengals with a defensive interim head coach. Losing is losing.
