The Bandwagon effect

Stop being so critical. Pulling for a team in the Super Bowl because your own team didn't even make the playoffs does not necessarily make you a "bandwagon fan".

It's sorta like this - if you got the chance, maybe you'd do Britney Spears... once. But that doesn't mean you'd wanna live with her.

I like how its basically the same 50 people that discuss topics here after a disapointing season. We know who's real. Does anyone remember how many new members we had right before the Ariz. game last year? or that awful 2 weeks when everything thought Vick may come here? Cant satnd bandwagon fans

Speaking of bandwagon fans, heres a story for you. I just got chewed out by a grandmother for calling saints fans "bandwagon." Which was kinda funny because i was being attacked by an old lady, on facebook, who proved my point. She said, and i quote, "I have been gathering saints stuff for at least 7 years now, ive been putting black and gold ribbons on the tree for 4 years now and i gave my husband a saints book 5 years ago." By telling me all this stuff basically proved my point... shes been a saints fan for 7 years at the most, considering this lady is probably in her 70's, it sounds like shes been a fan for 1/6 of the saints existence.

I didn't want to bash an old lady, but after i apologized for "lumping all saints fans as bandwagon" she didn't accept it, so i thought id share the story.

These are the days when i wish i went to school back in home in NC.
