Honestly I'm glad you brought this up because it just might happen. They can get a lot more assets than just taking Harrison. The draft will be hell of interesting if the Bears end up with the top 2 picks. Teams will be calling for Maye at #2.

Oh it’s gonna be so fun watching that, with Bryce as our prize.

It happens a bunch when teams are out of the running. Players suddenly have season-ending injuries. I'm sure it is just coincidence though, and bad luck.

I don’t think that’s the play here since we were shopping Chinn. Just a continuation of our terrible luck this year.

I mean, you got a legit injury? You might try to play through it to help your team make a run.   That's probably not smart but you see it often.  Your team is 0-6 with no realistic outcome of doing anything? Playing through injury just isn't worth the risk.
