I'm looking at the schedule and I know how bad Carolina has played but the teams remaining are quite beatable if Carolina can limit mistakes and the defense play a bit better.  There are no more Miami's on the schedule. Tampa twice, New Orleans, and Atlanta, Texans, Colts, Bears, Packers with the exception of Dallas and Jacksonville which I think Carolina wins atleast 1 of those games, They could theoretically go on a run if they can get it together during this bye week.

I love your positivity.

Don't see it happening.

This reminds me of a study in perceived cognitive decline due to hearing impairment.  Essentially, hearing impairment causes the subject to exert more cognitive energy to the simple task of actually hearing something than the effortless capture of the same information without impairment.  This difference in expenditure appears to be a cognitive deficiency when in fact it’s a physical deficiency.

As Panthers fans even considering the possibility of “winning out”…we are the impaired.  We’ve spent so much energy just to hear the conversation that we look stupid.

    • heres a good piece on shemar stewart-   https://www.sbnation.com/2025/2/20/24368685/shemar-stewart-nfl-draft-profile-texas-am
    • Knowing us, probably trade up to #3 to get him. @LinvilleGorge will delete the forum entirely in a rage fit.
    • Yeah, I mean, it's fine to bank on youth but it can't outweigh who you are as a prospect. I don't look at a guy and say, "Oh I have an extra two years to develop this guy" on a team that needs a ton of help at every position. If I were an elite team with depth to spare, hey, why not? But those teams also draft in the range I think he should be in, middle of the 1st to end of the 1st. That's fine but I think you are going to struggle pretty heavily to find a guy that WASN'T arguably playing out of position his entire college career that was as unproductive in college as Stewart has been that panned out in the NFL. ESPECIALLY as a top 10 pick.  Now, if we are talking a top of the 4th round pick? You run to the podium with that Stewart card and don't look back.
