Otherwise, they could look toward the displaced Daisher (who coached East Mecklenburg in 2003 and at East Carolina prior to that), veteran Detroit assistant Stan Kwan (who was in San Diego with Fox and general manager Marty Hurney in the early 1990s) or former Jacksonville assistant Pete Rodriguez, who worked in the UFL.

If they go for a known commodity, I'd rather it be Larry MacDuff. Still, my bigger preference would be Bruce DeHaven. Rodriguez would be a good choice too.

While I wouldn't want to flip flop with Detroit, I wouldn't mind most other teams including the rams. Based on this analysis by football outsiders, the Rams were better in 2009 than we were.
