* The ones I would bring back next year. Then I would go look for a WR in the free agency and the draft. Moose is old but I think he has another year left in him, and Smith will do great next year but he too is aging, the only one with potential is Jarrett and we really dont know if he'll ever come around even though he showed promise at the end of last season. I wouldnt get rid of Jake i'd keep him around for competition, and also bring in another veteran qb to compete with Moore and Delhomme.

So you want to leave us with 2 QB's with the names of Jake, and Matt??

I disagree with getting rid of McCown over Feeley, unless it was a money choice, but hey, it's not supposed to be this upcoming year.

I like McCown far better IMHO. With Moore starting, Jake, and McCown on the bench, I feel much better.

Bring in someone in the draft that can actually do something, instead of a project if you wanna pick one up.

I would like to see them bring in a quarterback from the draft, but I would like to see them pick up another verteran, so we have someone with some experience, so your probably right that itd be good to keep McCown, my only this is that he'll be what 32 this year? I would think itd be good to get a younger veteran that'll be around for a lot longer.

I could surely see bringing in a bunch of guys into camp including several quarterbacks. But when it all settled we will only keep 3 QBs on the active roster. And the only QB we would keep on the practice squad would be someone who was undrafted like Cantwell. But again why worry about how many we have until camp. Without a cap we can sing a bunch of guys as long as we don't give them a bunch of signing bonuses or guaranteed money.

The two BIG deals: Renegotiate Jake's contract. Sign Pep to a long-term deal, no matter what it takes.

I would keep Hollis Thomas, so that we could have another big veteran alongside Kemo. I'd also keep Tank, Leonard, and Lewis. I'd keep Charles Johnson and obviously Everette Brown, and Pep would be resigned somehow. I'd grab two decent DE's from somewhere. I would keep Beason, Davis, Anderson, and Connor. I don't think that Na'il Diggs or Landon Johnson can get the job done as well as would be hoped. I think we let them go and sign a veteran LB and draft a LB. I love the Captain and Dante Wesley. They both have earned a roster spot for 2010. Sherrod Martin is the fuging man, Chris Gamble is pretty good, and Richard Marshall is way above decent. Chris Harris is a beast. I haven't heard much about Quinton Teal this season. I say draft a Safety.

On offense, Put Jake at second, and start Matt Moore, and Keep McCown. All the rest suck. Keep all of our current O-Line people, unless it is possible to get someone with more experience. Put the O-Line on a rotation system like the D-Line. Let Moose go, and throw Jarrett into his spot. The guy has a lot of potential, and I believe that if forced into a situation where he HAS to perform, like he was in Week 17, I think he will show up in a big way. Just a hunch. Definitely draft a WR, though. Someone like Golden Tate or something like that. I like Kenny Moore. Give him a shot. Keep both of our fullbacks. Keep Double Trouble at all costs, and keep Tyrell Sutton. not so sure about Goodson. The man was a monster in the preseason, but couldn't do poo in the regular season. Give him a chance, but let him go if he can't deliver. Keep all of our tight ends.

Keep all of our kickers. They got good legs. Especially Baker, cause he's a blocking beast as well.

I'm cool with the coaching staff, as long as they get someone good into the Special Teams coaching position.

Nai'll Diggs we will keep he's a solid verteran and he does really good against the run, Johnson is more than likely gone, with the way the younger linebackers played last season. They will probably keep Quinton Teal because he's been on the team for a few years now and knows the system, his role is mostly just for special teams, so I expect he'll stay.

I dont know why you would keep Thomas over Moose both are old and we have more depth at DT than we do at WR... So in my opinion it would better to keep Moose to help out at WR... and give us some depth there.

Renegotiate Jake's contract.

The current CBA doesn't allow you to renegotiate a player's contract to make less money unless they agree to it. Plus it is already guaranteed so how do you think you would negotiate it differently? Now if you want to pay it all in 2010 I am sure Jake wouldn't mind.

If you were guaranteed to make $100,000 in 2010 even though you had a bad year in 2009 sellling something after doing pretty good for the past 6 years, would you suddenly agree to make half of that or would you figure this year will be better and refuse to take a pay cut especially if you knew if could be your last year with the company?

Good point. While there isn't a salary cap for 2010, it isn't like you can just cut wildly without having ramifications down the road when presumably there will be a cap.

If this were Madden though instead of reality then you could play along and not worry about it.

lol i haven't played that game in a long time but i would always sign the top FAs to my team and then trade them for picks unless they were superstars.

The players would get a little disgruntled but that always changes when you go 19-0 every season ha. Good times back in the day.

I think last years injuries was a good thing, a blessing in disguise. Injuries showed our depth at linebacker and I could see us letting Johnson go for sure and even Diggs, I like Diggs but Anderson or Connor I think could do the job. I think if Hollis Thomas wants to stay we should keep him, DT depth is always a plus, and if we keep everyone on the D line then we could tire down the opponents O-line with fresh D-linemen. I just dont see why no one has called out Hayden, I think he is garbage. I think we should keep moose but also we should try to find his replacement this year. Teal is a great back up in my opinion and I have always been high on him.
