ROCK HILL, SC (UP) - South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford and North Carolina Governor Mike Easley met Tuesday to discuss plans that would effectively join South Carolina with North Carolina into one state.

I stopped reading after that last part... Couldn't they have chosen a classier venue... Maybe Chilies or Starbucks. Mc Donald's?!?!? Really?!?!?!

I'd rather go to Bojangle's or maybe Burger King. At least at BK the burgers are flamebroiled and the fries aren't so salty your lips burn.

The University of North Carolina and South Carolina have agreed to join and unify their name and mascots. They will be known as the Carolina Tarcocks.

North Carolina has started a daring move this evening, declaring war on South Carolina should they not relinquish all their rights to North Carolina. After the take over North Carolina plans to change the name of the two states to Carolina. This move will make Carolina a stronger state in the coming State Wars of 2012.

North Carolina, from now on known as Carolina, plans on making Charlotte the capitol of the new state, and since the former South Carolina has no professional teams, they can now truly embrace Carolina professional sports as their own.

It is to note that the long standing Carolina Panthers organization saw this coming and adopted the name of simply "Carolina" in 1994 and it is said from multiple sources that they had a hand in propelling this radical movement.
