he is a great LB/defensive coach. Alabama has the best linebackers in college football. he has coached up some of the best including DeMeco Ryans and Jarrett Johnson, and now Rolando McClain who will be a 1st rd draft pick this April. hate to bust your bubble though, but no alabama coach will go to UT

anyway, Sal's a solid coach. Left the pros to be a bigger player on the college circuit. I'm sure he'd be a solid DC but I don't recall a time where he was a coordinator in college.
