Rex Ryan guarantees the win vs Colts

I think you guys need to take a step back and read the quote. I don't see anywhere that he guarantees the win, nor do I see where Ryan says he's going to "wreck their opponents."

Can someone point it out for me?

I already point this out. The man didn't guarantee anything. This same thing has happened about a hundred times with John Fox quotes. People just pile on like a bunch of sheep without bothering to check whether the OP is accurate or not.

I believe they interviewed Dallas Clark ( I think) on sirius about whether Rex saying his team was the best in the playoffs would be bulletin material and Clark said it wouldn't. He said every team should believe they are going to win every game they play. If they don't, they shouldn't be playing the game. He said he wasn't surprised or worried about the comment and when the pads start hitting, it won't mean a thing.

Heard Ryan saying we deserve to be there, where, AFC runner-ups? Really tired of your act buddy...errr Rex? The only way you win is if the ref's dont call illegal contact but hey, many teams have won this way. This is why you eliminate teams when you have the chance. Please God!!! Eliminate Jets (no more t-rex rahrah!) and Saints ( an offseason SaintJ free, priceless!!!)

I'm not that big on the whole "swagger/bravado" thing. Benefits are overblown as it hypes up opponents as much as it does your own guys.

The thing I enjoy though? Ryan is the kind of coach that could really get under Belichick's skin for years to come. That I will enjoy immensely :D
