I went and watched the long video of Manning's rookie year wondering if I was being too harsh on Bryce, all of the TDs and Ints. He was slinging it and also he was reading the line, that was a rookie that made me say holy crap this guy is going to be a baller. Lots of mistakes but right back out there slinging it. It wasn't close to what we have seen from Bryce on any level.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Same noise and same product but this time it will be different...I just don't believe that and he hasn't done a thing to change my mind.

Sunday will be interesting.

Unless this staff is literally brain dead I’d like to think they know they’re going to need to score a lot of points Sunday. Which means they’ll need to be more aggressive. If Bryce is still reluctant to take shots downfield then oh boy

I truly don’t care if he throws 3 interceptions. If he throws for 320+ with 3 touchdowns I’ll take the interceptions if they’re downfield shots

What do interceptions or missed passes matter? At 0-5 the only good thing is you can stop playing to not lose and go try and win. Let it rip or stop talking about it magically appearing at some point.

I have no idea what they will do but I will keep expecting more of the same because that is the only trend that has stuck around. People failing and just keep doing the same stuff while saying a bunch of BS along the way. That's the Tepper way I guess.

? designing a play is one thing. Running it 8 times a game is a whole different thing. You have to have short passes and screens in your playbook, you don’t have to make them your entire game plan though

Hey @Varking don’t let me interrupt your poo streak but which part of this didn’t you like? You think screens should be our entire game plan? Or does the wife have you frustrated and you just need to get it out on a random reply?

Oh this is how I operate. I don’t poo any post, first. When one of mine gets pood I just click who did it and poo their 2 most recent. Repeat for any new poo I get.

I’ve yet to hear that Frank wasn’t happy with the pick. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is reporting it as being, at worst, a 1a vs. 1b situation.

So feeling sorry for Frank because he got Bryce? Not buying it. Frank has months to create a playbook to maximize Bryce’s skill set and have failed doing so, on top of general coaching blunders. At this point Frank looks like a bad hire.

Reich was never anything special, but he can win in the NFL. Reich is a grade below Rivera.

So, why is a coach who can win in the NFL struggling so badly? The answer is the worst roster building in the NFL.

Andy Dalton? Miles Sanders and Chuba Hubbard? Ian Thomas, Hayden Hurst, and Tommy Tremble? TMJ, Chark, Shenault with their route running and hands? No OL depth. A LT who can't protect the blindside?

You expected an entire offense designed around an above average but overvalued rookie QB & Adam Thielen to produce wins?

Draft capital wasted. Opportunities missed. Key players tossed for nothing special.

Fitterer is building rosters for other NFC teams. Reich has no chance to look like his normal self and be a mediocre winning coach.

I tend to think it was BY all along. While he wasn't at the top of everyone's board, it did seem that he was atop most. Stroud at #1 speculation peaked mid draft and we basically heard pretty quick he wasn't our preference.  A lot of us hoped it was rumor at the time, but I think BY was widespread considered the #1 choice from the moment the trade was made.

You got that right including inside sources that Bryce was the one by far. Ohio State has never produced a successful pro QB, only receiver. Yes, CJ is amazing when has time in the picket to pass to his many talented receivers but when he's under pressure, looks like Sam Darnold passing to ghost.  Only those who doesn't watch NCAAF and only cares about strong arms would take CJ prior to the draft.

More college? They are in the NFL now and I don't even need Sunday to be some arbiter of success or failure. I know who we should have taken and knew it then. Nothing has done anything to make me change my opinion of the players. Definitely not some college tape.

Yet you also wanted Sam D based on his physical attributes with a strong arm that he showed off in the combined that made you drool.

While I watched enough USC games to know Sam would be a bust at the pro level. So i know what am talking about

You’ve been wrong about CJ since he got drafted, you literally put up your own money against him in the Steelers game, lost the bet as he threw for a couple touchdowns and 300 yards, and still claim to be some QB Savant. Chill.
