I can not blame him for doing so. If I wrote a 2.25 billion check, for sure Id want to be a super involved with daily operations.

You'd pay a massive amount of money for a heart transplant too. Would you then feel entitled to tell the surgeon how to perform the operation?

an owner can certainly treat an NFL team as his own real life Madden franchise if he so desires, but he should then understand he's not going to build a winner if he does.

(fans won't support that either)

Keeping pressure on people to perform is entirely different from actively controlling football operations. I don't think Tepper is running our draft, FA, and calling plays. Sure, he's probably an asshole to work for but not once have I been given the impression that he's a puppet master.

Yep. He’s the root of the problem because the guys in charge are his decisions. Still can’t believe people are blaming him as if he’s running the show. He’s the new Rhule. The problem IMHO is squarely on Frank and Scott but there’s an active movement in here to make Frank and Scott look not so bad anymore as if they had no choice. SMH, are these people watching the games or do they think Tepper’s calling plays too?

SMH, could you make a worse comparison? Being an owner of a football team and questioning an 0-5 all star coach is not the same as getting a heart transplant.

I’m sorry man, but your coach and GM are just not good. One day you might admit it and not keep trying to find excuses for them.

I would certainly demand to know why his previous five patients died (if we are continuing with this hilariously poor analogy).

Read what I was responding to.

JR and now Tepper just can't seem to get the coaching hires right.

Capers - Mid-aged Steelers DC

Seifert - HC, Elder Lifer who took over Walsh, won a SB in a good system w/Montana

Fox - Mid-aged Giants DC

Rivera - Mid-aged Chargers/Bears DC

Rhule - Overhyped College Coach

Reich - HC, Elder lifer who won a SB in a good system as an OC

Unreal we've never tried a younger offensive guy from the NFL.  Waldron, B Johnson, Frank Smith, there's more out there Dave.  Need to take a shot at some point.
