Worst All-Time In-Game Entertainment

Not to mention the new screen is barely larger than the old one.

Its the HD quality that they paid for. Go ahead and get a bigger wider screen like they have in Baltimore. My 13 yr old 27" RCA Tube TV has a better picture than M&T Bank Stadium.

When their team is on offense... the thin screens btwn the club level and the upper deck (just like the ones we have) say "SHHHHHHHH! OFFENSE AT WORK!" and get this the fans were quiet...

That is beyond PATHETIC. I've seen that in a few stadiums and I've always thought it was insulting to the fans.

The Patriots have been around for 50 years and they still need to tell their fans to be quiet on offense? Really? Really?

Suddenly I feel better about Panther fans.

I don't know what's worse: having to tell fans not to cheer for offense, or having to tell them to cheer for defense.

It's easy to bitch so what would you do to make it better?

Have two fans in upper level hold Gayman (GMan is Right) upside down over the railing, while he counts the number of fans in the lower level, preparing his usual weekly sarcastic "Lack Of Fans Report" to post on the forum.

When Gayman has finished counting, they release his miserable azz, letting him fall to the lower level, while the crowd below wildly cheers.

I know! I know! It sounds cruel, but someone expendable needs to take a hit in the name of stadium entertainment and he was the first that came to mind.

I've seen them flash that on our screens.

I think the last 2 posters missed the point...

Your experience illustrates that the New England "fan experience" is vastly superior to that of the Panthers.

My comment also suggested that not only do Panthers fans not cheer when the team is on offense, they don't cheer loudly when the team is on defense, either.

How did I miss your point?

your post came across more along the lines of how lame it was that the Pats stadium asks their fans to cheer on d and be quiet on o... and my point was that they create an environment focused around football... not around advertising.

i guess we got cross up there somehow... i dunno? no biggie.

I do however stand by the fact that they do have a superior fan experience as a result of how the run their stadium. regardless of if there are telling their fans what to do and when to do it... that's certainly better than beach music and vic card ads... which I am sure you will agree.

We're arguing the same point here, I think.

I'm basically saying I wish they had to tell our fans to be quiet on offense(without escorting them from the stadium, as is typically the case).

:cheers2:
