Wade Phillips will be back in Big D

ESPN's Ed Werder reports that Phillips will be brought back as Cowboys coach in 2010. Owner Jerry Jones promised a quick decision on his coach, and he stayed true to his word.

Jones had an option on Phillips' contract. It remains uncertain whether Phillips will get an extension, but we'd think Jones wants to avoid having a "lame duck" coach.

Well, the Cowpokes finally won in December, and they finally won a playoff game. I'd count that as progress. They'll have most of that team back next year, maybe minus Williams at WR. Of course, they can always bring TO back! LOL..
