2) Didn't the cowboys blow out the Eagles a few weeks back?

3) The idiots Called a TIMEOUT!!-- the Cowboys could have let the clock run, but stopped the clock in the hopes of getting the ball back. Dumb move on their part, they deserved it.

here's a question for Keith Brooking, since i know he reads my posts.

on that play, instead of a TD, Farve throws it right into your hands. you got the interception, and have a clear shot straight to the endzone with only offensive linemen chugging along to catch you.

do you:

1: Take a knee, and concede that the game is over.

2: Run it in for the TD.

if you answered 1, you're a liar.

if you answered 2, then you admit that the game was not over and that the Vikings were right to keep playing.

Here's how I see it:

Kicking a field goal would have been better sportsmanship. But by no means were the vikings obligated to do so. You can't complain about another team running the score up. It might not be the classiest move, but complaining about it is far worse than doing it.

I remember hearing one of the old-timer college coaches (I believe Lou Holtz, again) say: "Ok, I'll stop trying to score points when the other team stops trying to score points as well."

If the Cowboys just wanted to concede and end the game, why were they calling timeouts in the final two minutes?

They were still playing and so were the Vikings.
