Do you guys look at Vicks stats before starting these dumbass threads? How many times do you got to see that prior to this year Vicks best year didn't even beat Delhomme's worse? Repeat that to yourself over and over till it finally sinks into your brain. That is if you have one.

To be honest, in this society it would probably depend who I was, how good I was at what I do, and how much money I have in my bank account.

i don't want vick, and it's based solely on football. not dogs. just look at last week. sure he threw one nice pass for a td, but he also lost a fumble. the only other numbers are an incomplete pass and a rush for no yards. other posts have more in depth numbers supporting the fact that for every one thing he does well in a game there is one more awful thing. maybe he'd do better through an entire game, but please God don't let it be for the Panthers.

Well, if Jimmy Johnson is a dumb ass when it comes to the NFL, then I'm happy to be a dumb ass with him.

I don't care about his criminal past, but his football past is overrated. He makes a lot of big plays, but also turns it over a lot and is not a very good passer. And he is 30 years old, which means his ability to run the ball will soon begin to diminish.

I completely agree that he is overrated. However you cant argue with the fact that he is still more of an elusive QB then say Delhomme or Moore. Teams know his ability to run so to have to try and run a defensive scheme that can be ready for a QB scramble, PA pass, inside run, option, HB screen, reverse, pitch out, or just a plain old pass all in the same play is impossible.

Like i said i dont want him here to throw bombs and take over as the starting QB. But to have him in a limited role similar to the way Philly used him would be worth the money especially in an uncapped year.

He's good at running the ball. We don't need any more people who can run the ball. We already have two of the best who can do that. We need a QB who is a good passer and can protect the ball.

Nice way to avert direction so you dont have to directly address my post. I know more about the Panthers than Johnson does. He's just another talking head that doesn't do research before speaking.

He's another sheep that looks at Vicks highlights and says "OMGZ THEY NEEED HIM!" without even noticing that even in his limited time he's thrown this year, Vick didn't even complete half his throws.

And if he did his research, he'd notice how poo Vick's completion percentage and QB rate has been his entire career. He'd also notice Vicks number of fumbles. In 2004 he had 16 fumbles, in 2005 he had 11 fumbles, in 2006 he had 9 fumbles. And you remember his fumble in the playoffs last week right? Throw that in with his INTs and incomplete passes, he is a total failure as a QB and RB.

yeah too bad this isn't fantasy football or madden or the early 1990s cowboys. jimmy johnson could fall off a bridge and im sure you would be happy to follow.

mike vick wants a starter job with starting money. if you seriously would consider mike vick, who only scored when the eagles did trick plays, over matt moore, who did EXCELLENT when he was put in, you are, as i said before, a dumbass.

we went 4-1 with moore, why the HELL would we want vick?? don't say "omg he can b a widcat thraet!!!!!1" because:

1. We barely ever run wildcat

2. Vick wants to be a starter
