And no, thanks for the suggestion but I’ll stay, I thoroughly enjoy calling out those of you who constantly blame and s*** on our rookie quarterback, making fun of his height, weight, calling him a bust after 4 games. Just because he’s not meeting your lofty standards of what you think a #1 pick should be doing. That’s not what a fan does. And it’s genuinely pathetic how much of this board has turned on and placed all the blame on a 22 year old kid who just played his 4th game.

If he develops and becomes a great player, don’t go rooting for him then.

2008-2011 Panthers literally had an all-time great rushing attack.  IIRC, the 2011 running game was the highest-graded rushing attack that Football Outsiders had ever recorded.  2 1,100-yard backs in 2009.  Incredible seasons from Stewart and Williams in 2008.  Hell even the 2010 running game was pretty solid given who the QB was.

And that isn't even getting into the receivers.

Yes, Cam Newton's team was way better.  It is a damn shame how much talent we had on those late 2000s and early 2010s teams end up getting wasted.  So many legendary players on those teams.
