Payton without Brees & Belichick without Brady

I saw this on a different forum.  I have noticed that the QB has a huge impact on a team.  

both coaches have become dumpster fire, after losing their high caliber QB.  So, where did Brady and Brees come from?

Then you have the opposite story with Pete Carroll. Russ without Pete Carroll has been straight trash while Geno Smith has looked like a legit NFL QB with Carroll while being a journeyman bouncing around the league previously.

As much as I can't stand Payton he's stepping into a situation that was pretty bad last year with a QB that has a rep for being less than coachable. Seeing that smug look smacked off of his face makes me happy but he may deserve a bit of a pass this year.

He would have been better served had he not made the statement critical of Hackett. He displayed an arrogance and led people to believe he would immediately turn the team around.
