Sign T.O. as a #2?

I think TO would be the perfect fit for what we need. Smitty doesnt want to be a #1 anymore. He said himself he wants the Panthers to get a legit #1 so he can stay in the slot like Welker. If the money is right, no reason this shouldnt be an option. Owens would know the situation, he would be Moss, and SMitty would be Welker, whats wrong with that?

Think for two secs how TO would've acted with all of Jakes picks earlier this season!

He would've killed any good mojo going on! Those INTs and TO would have started some !poo instead of just riding it out like the rest of the team was able to do.

Hell no, I don't want her in a Panthers uni.

I wouldn't object to it. He knows we have Smitty. He knows that we have Double Trouble. He knows that he would be the number 2, number 3 if you count the running game. Like someone else said, he wasn't the problem in Buffalo so I wouldn't object to bringing him in for a year or two while we are grooming our soon to be draft pick.

I actually wouldn't object to this. First of all, despite his dramatic past, he wasn't a problem in Buffalo, and with the attitude that the team has here and the guys we have in the locker room, I highly doubt he would cause a problem. Secondly, we have the potential to win NOW, so his age isn't a huge detractor. We could bring him in for a year or two while our drafted receiver (Shipley, Benn, Tate maybe) develops, and he would certainly be an upgrade to our WR core.

That said, I doubt it happens.

T.O.? *#@& no!! What did this clown do this past year? I thought he was 'the missing link' in Buffalo to take them over the hump and into the playoffs? He's almost as old as Moose is, and is guaranteed to be cancer in the lockerroom to boot. If he caught 20% of the passes he dropped over the last 3 years or so, his teams might have gone somehere. We should have learned from the MeShawn Johnson debacle, we let a proven winner like Ricky Proehl go to accomodate that overrated, useless bag of wind. let's not let history repeat itself..

Again, *#@& no to T.O....

so if T.O. and moose asked for the same $ and same contract length, who do you take?

Exactly. People are thinking about Jarrett (who I believe will be here), but I am more concerned with how we could justify keeping Moose if we were able to acquire TO. We wouldn't keep them both would we?

Sorry, Moose, I love ya, but TO is the bigger threat, and could actually spread the defense (j/k....).

Double Trouble x2. The Quad Squad.
