Being the number 1 puck in the NFL draft is pretty much the definition of asking for this. You're going to a bad team. It's not a good situation to play in. But you're making 8 figures and are set for the rest of your life if you behave financially. If you've ever seen an NFL draft, this is exactly what to expect as a draft pick.

Normally and almost if not always the #1 pick goes to the worst team. I’m sure he’s smart enough to know in advance that it wasn’t going to be like Bama where you’re playing for championships every year.

To be fair, I don't think anyone expected this. I sure as hell didn't. And I knew we were going to lose a lot of games. Just not the way they are losing games.

The defense and ST are good enough. This offense is misery, minus thielen. Sure the OL lost its starting OGs, but boze, ickey, and moton have played very poorly.
