PUT THINGS INTO PERSEPECTIVE

I am....

- Throw $250 out the window

- Piss off the wife

- Disappoint the kids

- Watch the game on TV

OR

- Go to the game

- Happy wife

- Happy kids

- Tickets used as planned

- Check in on the Panthers using her phone while at the game

- Watch the 2nd half at her parents house

- Watch the 2st half at home via DVR the next day

Well, now it looks like I might see the whole game...can't find the friggin' hockey tickets.

They've been sitting in a small basket I usually keep any tickets we buy, in. Magically a few days before the game they've disappeared. I'm about the blow an artery. I can't believe one of my sons would have snatched em but they both have their own issues while all of a sudden they don't want to go. Older son doesn't want to be away from his gf the whole weekend. Younger son has an aversion to sitting up high in any stadium or arena. He gets very fixated on it....he's asked me 4 or 5 times this week where we're sitting....unfortunately they're the 2nd to last row in the upper deck. I just can't imagine they'd stoop to boosting the tickets to keep from going. I could easily have gotten their step-sister and/or cousin to go in their place(s).

It woulda been a cold day in hell that my father would have dropped $250 to go to any sporting event that he could watch on TV.

I would be stunned and very disappointed in my boys if they did this. We've turned the house upside down and can't find the tix. The paper from stubhub is in the basket, but no tickets.

I had the hockey tickets long before the date of the Panthers game was set. I guess you're more of a fan than I am because I'm not so loaded that I can throw $250 out the window. Read the whole thread and you'll see my dilemma.

Kills me that you'd have to think about losing your job or not to watch the game. You're either very young or you have a shitty job.

Can stubhub re-issue the tix?

Do they do that? I guess I can look into it...

Oh man shinner - that's awful. I'd be blowing a gasket, so I can't imagine how you must feel.

If it were just me going, I wouldn't be that pissed but with the wife and both sons, I'm looking at losing what I consider to be a significant amount of cash. Big spenders might not see it that way...but I do.

I hope he speaks to me soon cause things aren't looking good. The basket the tix were in was on the top of our china cabinet. After the wife dismantled the Christmas tree and cleared the space where it was, we decided to move the china cabinet where the tree was. The stuff that was on the top of the cabinet got set on the couch while we moved it. We've searched the china cabinet, the couch, the love seat. Turned everything upside down, checked between the cushions, etc...still nothing.

Like sunbunny suggested - it can't hurt to see if stubhub can help. They might be able to contact the seller who then might have some way of tracking the ticket and having it reissues via e-mail or something. Worst that could happen with that situation is they can say no.

and yeah - check the decorations box

and has anyone visited the house recently who might have seen them and "inadvertently" picked them up

Could they have been put with the decorations?

Will have to get her to check...might as well, we've looked everywhere else! I just don't know how they would fall out of the basket and nothing else did.

Once they've been successfully delivered, it's pretty much on you...

Q: What do I do if my tickets were lost, damaged, or stolen?

A: Keep in mind that once you receive your tickets, you are responsible for their welfare and safekeeping. Unfortunately, most tickets are irreplaceable and we cannot guarantee any replacements. Treat your tickets as if they are cash and keep them in a safe, secure place until you're ready to use them.

If your tickets were lost during shipment, give us a call immediately at 1-866-STUBHUB (1-866-788-2482). We will work with FedEx on a claim to help locate your tickets.

What if I need reprints?

We cannot guarantee reprints. However, for a $20 fee you can submit a Reprint Request and we will attempt to obtain reprints from the seller for you. Keep in mind, the seller may not be able to obtain reprints and is under no obligation to do so.

Important: The $20 Reprint Request fee is not refundable, even if reprints cannot be obtained.

If the seller is able to obtain reprints, you are also responsible for any fees the seller incurs to obtain the reprints. An additional shipping charge may also apply.

Looks like it pretty much depends on whether or not the seller is motivated to help you out....stubhub does jack but pass on your problem to the seller for a cool $20 bill regardless of whether or not you can be helped.

Nah, just little kids and my son's gf.
