Got any cover band suggestions/connections?

Buddy of mine is asking me for the Gateway Y/Community outreach arm.

The person who asked them mentioned jazzy/steely dan. NOBODY had a clue who they were and he knew I would.

But I don't know the local band scene as well as I once did.

So, anybody know of some jazzy rock type groups nearby?

We are a three piece band (The Trip Rogers Band) and we do all sorts of old jazz/blues tunes and classic rock.

We play out often at events like this and also do a lot of bike nights and bar gigs. We have played at Mac's Speed Shop and Easy Eddie's, to name a couple of places.

My friend's dad's band would be perfect for you. They mostly did Steely Dan, Jimi, Doobie Bros, etc. covers. I think they are all retired and in nursing homes now, though.
