You'll be waiting a long time, because he's left this place.

He never said anything definitive one way or the other, and basically took a wait-and-see approach. And, that's a rational approach.

Nah he isn't in a hurry to come back because he was a Scott Fitterer apologist and that's blown up in his face upon the realization he is our worst general manager by far.

Hey @ForJimmy, I bet you'd never think that you'd see the day when I was defending Scot. 🤣

We made peace though. He outright said that he's not coming back, but I said that I'll await his reincarnation.

Yeah I enjoyed his posts. He provided a lot of content as well. I hated to see him leave, but I completely understand.

I’m pretty sure a majority of the Huddle wanted Stroud. There was a poll and he was the leader by a good margin.

There’s no way to know how stroud would have done in this offense. Honestly there’s no way to tell if stroud will actually be a really good quarterback in this league, we’ll until, he actually is. BY still has a really good shot at being a stud. It’s frustrating as hell being a panthers fan, but we’ve got some good pieces in place, we will get there soon enough. Until then, let’s chug some beers!!

It’s still very early you are right, but Stroud looks like he belongs in this league.

About this team and I don't care.

I was wrong and _______________ was right (go ahead and quote this and put your name in the blank).

I won't ever apologize for taking advantage of a rare moment to be optimistic about this team. I'm glad I had that moment. At least I had that because the past 8 years has been pretty miserable. You take what you can get, or at least I do.

But I just don't care anymore. I've gone back to being apathetic like I was with Rhule.

Like I said, I won't apologize for taking advantage of a rare moment to feel optimistic...but I also won't apologize for finding something else to do with my family on Sundays than watch the poo show this team is.

If they can pull it together I might get interested again, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Oh, and I don't care if I get poo from anyone either for being stupid or a bad fan. I probably deserve it, but again, I don't care.

You know it's serious when rayzor decides to use capital letters.

Nobody owes you anything....  now, go bed to bed !!

If Tepper wants people to keep supporting his inept organization, he absolutely owes us an entertaining team to watch at the very least.

This is the worst sh!t take I've seen posted on this forum all season. Congratulations on that.

I mean at this point why trust or believe these guys will get any big decisions right, they haven’t even lucked into one that even bad gm’s/coaches fluke into.

Didn’t feel either of the 3 were worth trading up for since historically those trades very very rarely pay off, I mean clear mismanagement by the FO that majority of this board saw coming, and we all get paid way less and have a fraction of the access these guys have to these players, film, measurables etc

mr scott took his ball and went home because he now knows fitt is a bust?  Thats a shame.  I always wondered why he chose that particular hill to die on with all of the evidence mounting that fitt is a worthless hunk of poo.

It's not like this Fitterer thing isn't an opinion. Some of us just believe that in general the wise man lets things play out before forming an opinion. Moreover, a person can look promising today, and look like trash tomorrow (or vice versa). Fitterer has some good points. It's also still a little murky as to who made certain decisions. But Fitterer is currently crapping out right now because of choices that he made or cosigned. At some point a change is necessary, but obviously people will have differing opinions as to how much patience one should have or when the cord should be cut. Ultimately, the only one whose opinion matters is David Tepper's.

    • What I really learned here is that the Carolina Panthers aren't anywhere near as bad as I initially thought they were earlier this year.  We've got a young and growing offense with some promising parts. But it still needs some tweaks and improvements.  We really still could still use a dominant #1 WR. But Chubba,  Legette, Coker,  and J.Sanders have generally looked decent. Bryce took a big leap after the benching. We can score enough points to keep pace with 2x defending super bowl champions, so offense isn't a huge issue. Main thing that needs improvement is defense. We sorely need a CB 2, and a number of new players at Dline and LB.  We're not quite as bad at edge with Wonnum showing promise.  But we definitely need 1 or 2 more edges Clowney is old.  Run D is probably worse prevailing theme these past couple years. We really need a good young stud or two to pair with Derrick Brown and another LB to pair up with Trevin Wallace. If Morgan and Canales can focus on rebuilding the defense this off-season and possibly going out and getting a #1 WR. This team could easily be somewhere around 7-10 to 10-7 and flirting with playoffs in 1 or 2 seasons. Overall this game has made me feel alot more positive about the direction of the team.
    • With our picks we need pass rush, lb, Safety, a speedster yac wr, o line depth and I still want a mid round qb. We got 9 picks and 8 in the first 5 rounds. If they pull Off another solid draft we be cooking.
    • We had one passing touchdown against the Giants and one passing touchdown against the Chiefs today. Yes a good backup can replicate that. And that is why Andy Dalton in significantly less games has the same number of 30 point outings as Bryce Young. I am on board with you guys about wanting to be hopeful for the future. Today was a good performance to build on especially at home. But let's please keep things in perspective. BTW the Bucs who honestly aren't even that good blew the doors off the Giants today after we went to overtime against them with 17 points. Again. Perspective.
