What's Burns worth at this point?

mid 2nd ish

lol we’d get a 1

5th year option next year still

But no team picking in the top half is trading their 1’s. So for Burns and Brown we’re looking at picks somewhere in the 20’s. Might be able to get a decent WR then. Which is a trade I’d probably make right about now

NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO TRADE BURNS.

Keep him. Tag him. Let the next GM determine whether to resign him or trade him.

I don’t trust Fitt to get proper compensation. I also don’t trust him with any picks.

He should be barred from trading anyone.

And if you have to bar him, go ahead and fire him.

3rd would be best case based on this years tape.  A team might give up a 2nd if they think he’s being misused.  But that’s likely it.

Some of you are just underrating Burns. He has good numbers, and certainly numbers that equate better than a second.

    • I think we should have tried to iimprove our QB room. Dalton as a mentor is fine but I don't want him playing long term. We should always be trying to improve, even in the backup QB spot.  I'm more concerned about the team than a year one particular player. Look at Purdy, Dak, and Brady. All young backup players that had success once they had an opportunity to injury. Players that started moving forward. Jimmy G was a backup that was traded for a 2nd. These are exceptions to the rule, but you'll never find the gem if you never look.  We should be developing multiple QBs all the time. BY is the starter for now but should always feel pushed. I don't want the team to fall apart if BY suffers an injury. Next man up.  Always try to improve the caliber of players on your team.
    • This guy is an athletic freak. This is an interesting move.
    • It's going to hinge on Bryce vs. Caleb Williams. Whomever turns into the better QB would "win" unless they are fairly close and then I would think the Bears would win in that scenario pretty conclusively.
