still better than jakes last postseason performance,or last game time performance for that matter....i think vick will have more teams calling about him than jake will for him lol

Which means pretty much nothing.

Delhomme is possibly done, but a Warneresque comeback is possible (elsewhere, not here).

At some point Vick will be done too, and it may be sooner than you think. He was never a good passer, and the combo of teams adapting, faster defensive players and age will make his running less effective too. Everyone thought Vick would be a big deal this season in Philly, but how many highlight reel plays did you actually see?

Worship Vick all you want, but facts are facts.

For the record, the worst thing that ever happened to Vick was the firing of Dan Reeves. Reeves was actually trying to slowly convert Vick to being primarily a passer, and given time who knows? He might have succeeded.

Instead, the Falcons put his development in the hands of Jim Mora and Greg Knapp. These two, rather than trying to build the offense around Vick as Reeves was doing, brought in the West Coast, an offense for which Vick was poorly suited. The rest is history.

Make no mistake. Vick and Vick alone is responsible for his character failings (and they are important) but who knows how his football story might have been different if Atlanta hadn't pulled the plug on Reeves?

With this being said, do you think Vick could possibly turn it around? He has a good mentor/QB in front of him in McNabb; as well as, some good coaches there in Philly to guide him. I mean, he is no youngster, but he's not old either.

I mean, I know you and a lot of guys around here, believe Delhomme could possibly make a "Warneresque" comeback. How come Vick cant turn it around? You have people like, panther55, who believe there's NO WAY Vick can turn it around, he's horrible, he cant read defenses, he just sucks, yada yada yada. It's funny, because the way he described Vick, I see the same thing with Jake. I honestly dont think Jake can read the defense, either, and this year it really showed. He poked at, when Vick got in trouble, he would just dump it to Crumpler. Well, I saw Jake do the same thing, only with Smith.

Anyways, I just want to know do you think Vick could make a comeback, just like you believe Jake can.

Or a beautiful 70 yard pass last week in the 2010 NFL playoffs.

Whoa, you mean he threw a touchdown pass on a broken coverage? Sold. Let's dump this Matt Moore chump and pick up this guy. I mean he only fumbled one handoff that led directly to points for Dallas in that game.

As for Jake vs. Vick when it comes to careers, both have tarnished their reputations and achievements so badly that it's a non-issue. I mean, Vick's story is kind of being spun as a redemption thing which suckers in this country love and fall for every time, but I'd say his chances of getting either a ring or an NFC title as a starting quarterback are extremely slim by now. At this point, it's like having a rigorous debate over the merits of a frozen corn dog vs. a Hot Pocket.
