better career when its all said and done vick or delhomme.

Vick is alot smarter than Delhomme in the pocket. No one ever taught Delhomme how to check down and how not to throw into double coverage. 4 INT games, 5 INT games, Jake never progressed or learned how not to make the same mistakes over and over. Jake had the potential to be more than a glorified backup, but he never was taught proper mechanics and he is now suffering for it. In 2010, Jake Delhomme represents "bad quarterbacking", Michael Vick represents "redemption" and has more excitement in his left pinky than Jake ever had. This is the only franchise that Jake Delhomme could've thrived in. We know why.

And you just proved how little you know about football. Vick smart in the pocket? That is laughable. He looked at Crumpler and if he wasn't open ran every time.

Vick never had 4 or 5 Ints because he never threw the ball very much. He never had a 3000 yard passing season. Only twice in his career did he attempt more than 40 passes. In his best year ever he averaged less than 200 yards a game. He didn't throw picks because he ran first and took the sack.

I could go on but why bother, you never change your attitude and from these kind of posts show you have no clue what you are talking about. I won't waste my time.

No matter how much it's pointed out with indisputable facts that Vick is a never-was who was purely a highlight reel player and a vehicle for selling tickets and jerseys to people who don't understand football, he's still going to have his nuthuggers.

People who call Vick an "exciting player" and a "winner" are virtually the same as people who still call Jake Delhomme "clutch". They have this golden, frozen memory of him from 2004 breaking off forty yard runs, scrambling for first downs, and throwing frozen ropes on bootlegs.

if u cant tell i'm far from a jake fan. i think his stats are inflated.how come when jake makes the pro bowl its a good thing and when vick does oh its just because hes popular.

Try writing in full sentences and using punctuation so people can at least try and understand your gibberish. I am sure you were trying to say something meaningful but who knows. Plus math is your friend. Vick attempted 13 passes and had 24 passing attempts for a total of 37 snaps.

Here is a quiz for you? Who threw for 3000 yards twice in his career? Stewart or Vick? Who has a higher competion percentage? Hint: it wasn't Vick.

As for Culpepper, he became a primary pocket passer later in his career when injuries and age slowed him down. His best year was in 2004 where he threw for 4700 yards and ran for another 400. In fact his best running year he ran for 609 yards in 2002 which was almost 6 yards a carry. He could throw the ball but was also mobile as well.

Come back and play after you learn some football and take some grammar lessons so you can play with adults.

how much extra are u giving me for spelling words out. am i getting extra credit for all that spell checking and grammer usuage. if u can read well enuff to see when a word is writen in short hand then u d know the exact meaning of the word with less effort friend. and stewart passing for 3000 is a great stat...has nothing to do with his td/int ratio tho. and the reason he was benched. ur right a about donate tho.

seems most are missing the title of the post. WHO WILL HAVE A BETTER CAREER IN THE END. jakes is better right now thats clear. but vicks isnt over...and in the end i think time will remember vick for his accomplisments more so than jakes. first qb to rush for 1000 in a season. first qb and rb(dunn) to have a 1000 on the same team . first qb to throw for over 250 and rush for 100 in a single game. highest rushing average(8.4) in a season, most rushing from a qb in a postseason game, and the most rushing for a qb in a career when its all said and done. i know most are rushing accomplishments, but its more than jake has. what does jake have to fall back on to be remembered for???? tied for most ints in a postseason game. hes not a great runner or a great passer. i d rather be elite at something than medicore at all aspects of the game. u can average up all the passing stats u want and percentages, but those stats tend to favor just passers vick is a animal of a diffrent breed and cant be measured on the same scale. closest u can come between the 2 is wins and losses, passing is just one part of vick game as a qb if u put in rushing it evens out.

Or a beautiful 70 yard pass last week in the 2010 NFL playoffs.

...on a route where the cover guy fell down, followed up by a rush for nothing, a pass thrown at a receiver's feet and a fumbled handoff that turns into both points and momentum for the other team.

(teams will be salivating over that performance all offseason) :sosp:

Still doesn't mean Vick will be better. He would have to put up 5 good seasons just to be as good as Jake (which isn't saying much). Vick has only had 1 good season his whole career. Even then, his best year doesnt even beat Jakes worst prior to 2009.
