Well, you came to the right place here. Many of us are football fans & using common sense to prove Vick is never good as Jake. Jake is better than Vick despite not being an elite QB. And Vick being in the Pro Bowl more than Jake doesn't mean squat. It's nothing but a popularity contest. Want example?? Clinton Portis of the Redskins went there last year & his numbers weren't great compare to DeAngelo Williams, who didn't get the vote at that time. Beason got snubbed this year despite him having better numbers in his career compare to last year & his rookie season.

before he went to jail, vick had the potential to change the QB position into something crazy and make people question whether or not he deserved to be in the HOF based on passing AND running stats combined. I mean he rushed for over 1000 yards in a season and he's a QB, that's pretty damn special.

i think that had he kept his nose clean, Ron Mexico had a shot at being considered, but now, not a chance. Jake probably isn't done yet in my honest opinion. I think his time on the bench to get his poo striaght will be good for him. his career probably isn't over, it's just put on hold.

I completely agree with this. I can honestly see sitting on a bench for a year being the best thing possible for him. Maybe he'll pull a Kurt Warner or Favre(anyone remember Favres 29 int year? now look at him)
