Welcome to the Madhouse

This sounds fairly interesting

Winston-Salem, NC-- Winston-Salem's Bowman Gray Stadium is going to be spot lighted on national cable television, thanks to the History Channel. "Madhouse," a 60-minute weekly series will follow the personal lives and race-day highs and lows of drivers during the 2009 racing season.

Haven't been to Bowman Gray Stadium in a while, but the racing is usually pretty interesting. Fwiw, this is the first reality show that I know of based in NC.

BTW, a bit of trivia here. Most people know were Richard Petty won race number 200 (Dayton). But he won his 100th race at Bowman Gray stadium.

Was he in a super modified like these cars in the show? I work with a bunch of guys that know Junior, the Myers, Tim Brown (they all hate TB). Fun show.

Richard was driving a Ford Gran Torino. It was a Grand National race (forerunner to Winston/Sprint Cup). Bowman Gray use to be a stop on the ckt, before they went to more and more superspeedways.
