This is why you don't sign Vick

Vick is trash. I'll never root for trash like him. Yea he did his time and so he can go on his merry way, but there is no way I want him on my team. You guys have to remember most people on these forums would sign a QB child molester as long as he was good. What Vick did is like beating up on women. You can serve your time but what you've done has made you a trashy little bitch. Just because you serve your time doesn't make what you did all of a sudden not be a factor in judging the person that you are, because it does.

i just wanted to point out that fighting dogs is a pretty goddamned redneck thing to do.

And I'd like to point out that the guy who can't spell cat brought race into this. Just trying to show people the mindset of someone who does what Vick did, and why some of us can't "let it go", or just accept that it's just a bunch of dogs. While it's nice that he is out giving speeches to inner city kids about why what he did was wrong, it doesn't change what he did. Or why he did it. This is the poster boy for spoiled, entitled athletes who think because they can play a game better than anyone else they can behave any way they want to. I would think fans of a team that gave us Rae Carruth would appreciate that.

Edit: Most of you DO appreciate that, and this wasn't aimed at you.

And I agree with you. He has every right to play, but he can do it somewhere else.

Bottom line is OUR justice system assessed Vick a penalty and he fulfilled that... that's all you can ask of anybody.

People have a right to hate Vick for whatever reason they choose, they also have a right to think the punishment he got was not enough - but that doesn't change anything.

Personally, if you told me Vick could help us win a SB then I would be all for signing him. Morality is important, but this is the NFL and the bottom line is that you should do whatever you can within the rules to try and win the SB each year. I don't know if Vick could help us win the SB, but if you believe he can then you should be for signing him.

Regardless of Vick, I would like to see Matt Moore get an honest shot at the starting job based on what I saw this year. Is he the next Tom Brady? probably not - but you can win it all without a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning at QB if you have other strengths - and we do.

Vick displayed the behavior of a sociopath. serving an arbitrary jail sentence for it doesn't mean society should forgive and forget about what he did.

this adrenaline rush from killing animals thing is quite seriously how serial killers get started.

who said vick got a rush off killing dogs vick or the writer. i dont want to hear about this unless vick said this hisself.
