I loved how Jimmy Johnson said when the Pats were caught cheating that is was no big deal and they would still be dominant. No Cheating= Failure for the Pats.

I think Bill got a big head, people kept saying he was so great he could just plug any player in and win, but the old pats D always had real soild veteran leadership and talent, and the O was run by other people. He thought it was all him, let a bunch of people go and figured it would work out, and it didnt.

Brady, while very good, always had a D to bail him out. In 2007 with virtually no game tape on that O, they were able to do great things. Now that the tape is there, and Brady is playing scared, they are an average team at best.

They need some talent on D like nobody's business. I mean, if you have Jr. Seau plaing LB for you in a playoff game, you have to know that you are sorely lacking.

BB got the big head, and has been making poor personnel choices.

They do have 4 picks inside the 45 IIRC in the upcoming draft, so they could start to turn things around pretty quickly.
