On the ESPN NFL show at 1:30ET today, Trent Dilfer picked the Giants over Carolina to go the Super Bowl. Hoge picked Carolina over the Giants instead.

Dilfer is so irrattaiting (sp?). I want to like him because he shows flashes of intelligence but every time he says, "what we call the 7 route", I want to choke him. He says it about 20 times a segment because Berman said he liked the way it sounded.

I really don't want to be a pessimist. I have confidence in this team to win, but how can people peg us as the best contenders with how bad our defense has been under-performing over the past several weeks? Have they simply not noticed the other side of this team?
