I don't think Ott has it in them but all good even resting a few guys we will probably beat The Jackets and Blackhawks which would give us home ice agaist everyone but the rags....

Looks like we get the Isles in round 1 don't see them going more than 5 games agaist us this year.

On Wednesday, Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta said that he's "working" on bringing an NHL team to Houston, and possibly a WNBA franchise to the city, too.

In an interview on CNBC's "Power Lunch" show, the billionaire businessman revealed that he's actively pursuing his dream of bringing an NHL team to the Texan city.

"We would like to work to get an NHL team in Houston — I'm working on it," Fertitta said.

The 66-year-old was also asked about the rise and success of women's basketball in the wake of the NCAA tournaments, where the women's championship game outdrew the men on television for the first time. In response, Fertitta shared that bringing a WNBA team to Houston isn't out of the question.

"There can be a lot of growth in years to come... I would consider, definitely, with the growth of women's sports to talk about a WNBA team in Houston," he said.

Houston has not had a WNBA team since the Comets folded in 2008.

This isn't the first time that Fertitta has stated his interest in bringing additional sports teams to the fourth-largest city in the United States.

In February, he told Bloomberg that "we are talking to the NHL, but it’s got to be good for both of us," which referenced the economic boost an NHL team could bring to the downtown core.

In October 2017, when Fertitta was announced as the Rockets' new owner, he said that he "would put an NHL team here tomorrow" if he could.

"...I want to see Toyota Center filled up 300 nights a year, definitely. So we’ll do whatever we can do, but whatever we do is going to make sense. Will we be aggressive? Yes. That’s my nature.”

However, when it comes to getting a new team, no matter the sport, it's easier said than done.

In the current hockey landscape, an expansion franchise or a relocated team could be a possible route for Fertitta.

For example, the NHL and the Arizona Coyotes have made progress regarding a move to Utah, multiple sources confirmed Wednesday.

      I went on a solo elk hunt in the Flat Tops. It was awesomely miserable. LOL It was a late season hunt, I think third season and it was forecasted to snap off cold with highs in the upper thirties and lows in the single digits. fug it, I'm going anyway. They were wrong. The highs were in the low 20s and the lows were in the negative teens. I shivered so hard the first night I thought my teeth were going to break. It was the only time I've ever been legit concerned that I might be in trouble. Crawled out of my sleeping bag and got a fire started and suffered through the night bundled up next to the fire. I slept the next two nights literally wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with Nalgenes full of near boiling water in the bottom of my sleeping bag. That was the only way to have non-frozen water in the morning anyway. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and the melt/freeze crust was almost enough to support your weight but you'd go crashing through just as you went or make your step. It was exhausting travel and every step sounded like a rifle shot. Hunting was basically impossible. I never saw an elk in those four days, only saw 5-6 deer. LOL It was brutal but I loved it. Absolutely beautiful country that is never been to before and haven't been back since. I needed that four day complete break from society fighting for my life against the elements. I'm weird like that.

      The lack of production is especially surprising given how much effort the team put into coaxing the best from him.  In just six short years he’s had the opportunity to work with 3 different GMs, 7 different head coaches and 10 different starting quarterbacks.  There’s literally no excuse to be made that one of those combos didn’t work.  It might be time to look withIAN.
