Canes are getting a Blues team fighting for a playoff spot. They are 3 points behind Vegas for a wildcard with 3 games left. 

And they put 5 on Chicago last night.

Ya, unfortunately Vegas left the door open Monday and last night. Instead of facing a team whose playoffs hopes would have been crushed last night we got a team that is must win their last three including us and Dallas. They will be vicious.

Going to be interesting to see if the results from tonight change our approach going forward. Do we still play all the young guys or do we go for it?

A win tomorrow and we are one point out from a presidents trophy and a division title along with jumping Dallas for second in the league.

We now have a game in hand on the rangers till the end of the regular season. 
 

Max rangers can get is 114.

Max anyone else(Us, Dallas, Boston) can get is 113.

If we win we’re 1 point back. We need the islanders to take care of business at MSG(minus Dobson). If that happens we control destiny for the presidents cup and home ice. As we already own the tiebreakers v. Dallas and Boston. If we manage to get into a position where it matters we’d own the tiebreaker 9.5/10 scenarios over the rags. 

fug the presidents trophy but also fug having to play the red hot islanders in a 7 game series. Even if we match up against them well.

Back to the original question, I think you could slide 1-2 young guys in vs. Chicago and Columbus without much detriment. But will they even see ice time when we got guys like Lemieux, KK and TDA that need some tune up time?

Gee, do ya think it took long enough for the league?

But yeah, the forecheck was crazy good on that possession. From the first keep-in by Drury, and then Chatty and Orlov along the boards, the Bruins were toast about the time Svech came on the ice, they were just standing around gassed at that point.

I honestly think he’ll have a bounce back year next year if we don’t trade him… he shows signs he just needs to complete his game.

Imagine this list if Aho and Guenz had an entire season together. They’d take the crown easily at their current pace.
