If we don't take a WR with our first pick..

Which I actually think could be smart unless we got a chance to go after Tate or Bryant..we could wait and get a guy like Jacoby Ford. He reminds me a lot of Percy Harvin.

He's probably going to be one of the fastest if not THE fastest guy at the combine so he might end up going in the 2nd round but if we could have him in the 3rd I think he'd be a steal.

Then take him later...IDC

Even though I have a feeling after he runs a low 4.3 40 at the combine he will shoot up a lot of draft boards.

I don't know if he's that fast. I go to clemson and I watched most of the games in person or later recorded.

He is definately fast on the field. When spiller would break those long returns and runs ford could actually be behind and catch up to block with spiller at a full out sprint.

I don't know if he'll be around a 4.3 but who knows, we'll come back to this in a few months.

he wont be the fastest but in the top 3 fastest at the combine. trindon holliday will be the fastest. he can run good routes and has speed to be a deep threat, but he has inconsistent hands. may be the next devin hester.

Ford is a lot faster than Holliday.

I don't get the hype with Demaryus Thomas? He looks exactly like Jarrett to me...big, physical WR with mediocre speed...

My top 5 guys we MIGHT have a shot at would be:

1. Golden Tate

2. Brandon LaFell

3. Mardy Gilyard

4. Jordan Shipley

5. Arrelious Benn

He is way more physical than DJ..and faster than him too.He is raw.

But most of those top 5 guys prob will be gone by the time we pick

    • It's sort of funny you guys were so bad with 3s tonight about the same time Silver and LeBron both say the game is broken due to too many 3 attempts. The NBA is almost unwatchable. No defense, refs call fouls for almost anything, guys care more about looking pretty on the court than playing tough, etc. Today's NBA is putrid.
    • It's gotten more complicated with the change of CBS and FOX no longer being exclusive AFC/NFC partners From a home team perspective, the NFL requires the home market (which is typically the broadcast reach of the station airing the game) to carry the game. For times where there is a conflict (let's say, FOX Charlotte is airing some major news event) then the broadcast will go to a local station that FOX Charlotte has an arrangement with -- like the CW, maybe.  Only in super-rare instances would local FOX throw the game over to a major competitor like to WSOC/ABC. But it could happen This is how games that are "exclusive" to streaming will end up being broadcast by a local channel in those home team markets -- because the NFL wants the local market to be able to see the game.  Amazon TNF games will always be available on some local channel in those teams' markets, for example. Or the upcoming Netflix games For TV markets that do not have a local team, then the local station gets to choose from what's available. Ideally, they'd choose a regional game or one that is close in the conference.  In Atlanta, for example, we would typically get one of the NFC South matchups for times when the Falcons aren't playing.
