My guess is that the same stadium crew that sets up for Panthers games also did the bowl game. I doubt the Panthers grounds crew just said "whatever" considering the income being generated by having the game there.

I suspect that the end zones will be black like your picture. IIRC all of our home playoff games have had black end zones. In January you don't have to worry about killing the grass plus blavk will cover the bowl paint. As far as jerseys, I would expect us to be back in black...

We wore white in that game to force Dallas to wear their doo-doo blue jerseys. The Cowboys would prefer to wear white, so we wore white to keep them from doing so...many teams have done this. It is not a novel practice.
