Dennis Hopper ready to die and asks for forgiveness for "Super Mario Bros." movie

The legendary actor, 73, has told friends and family that he is ready to die, reports the National Enquirer.

Hopper has been suffering from prostate cancer since September and a source told the tabloid that the disease had spread to his bones.

Doctors are "no longer able to contain the disease, and his condition had severely worsened," the source added.

Hopper recently finished filming for his TV show, Crash, and is now saying goodbye to his loved ones, said the magazine.
