Arrelious Benn is not a sure-fire 1st round pick yet.. we very well could get him in the 2nd round. Thomas has great measurables.. I haven't looked at his route running or hands yet.. I would guess his route running is poor though.

I think Benn will be a 2nd round pick..but with the 3 game win streak I think we have taken ourselves out of a spot to draft him

I want speed and versatility. What make this kid a better prospect than Dwayne Jarrett when he came out?? Nothing...They are both big, physical receivers with good hands and average speed.

Thomas faster than Jarrett, and much stronger. He not as soft as Jarrett. Plus we are a running team, and our receivers will block if they're in. He can block

Any draft pick is a gamble. Thomas is no more of a gamble than most of the others. I do wonder though how much of his success was due to his talent, and how much was due to the defense being in shock when GT throws the ball.

BTW, heard a rumor that GT is looking to hire Al Groh as its defensive coordinator.

He is not as soft as DJ.Faster IMO.not as polished because of his offense.
