D'Shawn Jamison was hitting people on Sunday

We all saw the hit vs. Cousins before he knocked Osborne over, but I missed D'Shawn cutting JJ in half. Was wondering why JJ made the "short" gesture after the TD catch late in the game, but I'd probably need to get some of my ego back too if I got speared like he did.

Started getting curious about where this young man came from, so I went back to Dane Brugler's draft guide and found that he was Brugler's #35 ranked CB. Below is what Brugler had:

Had no clue that the kid had return potential (might have been mentioned when he was signed initially, but I can't recall), and his background on offense was interesting too. He's undersized (which is a cardinal sin now that Bryce Young is struggling), but his aggression and athletic traits allowed him to stick to receivers in college.

Like the other rookies, it's too early to crown (or condemn) him, but he's made some splash plays. He's given up 3 catches on 5 targets so far (including JJ's TD), but could be fun to keep an eye on as the season progresses. Might even develop into a reliable back-up nickel that can also contribute on ST.

    • I loved this draft. I think we have 3 starters out our first three picks. Maybe they take a year to develop but I don’t see them taking long.    I think Etiene is going to be a good back up. He’s only 20 so he has a lot to improve on.  I think we will see him be used on special teams this year. He won’t get many reps unless an injury happens because we got two 1,000 yard rb in front of him. I could see Ransom starting but I think he will probably be a back up, maybe playing special teams? I think hes probably got the lowest ceiling of all our drafted players. Cam Jackson will be a back up, probably not a lot of snaps this year. Could end up being a solid player for us.   I love the Mitchell Evans pick. He’s got potential to be our top TE. He had two different injuries that set him back in college but I think if he was healthy he would have been one of the top TE in the draft. I have even more faith in him because ND makes great tight ends. I don’t know if he will play much this year unless an injury happens though. Probably just a blocking TE this year.
    • That's right, I don't remember Hardy but remember the Nails dude
    • Tet isn't Evens. He isn't as quick or uses his body as well, something Evans was known for in school. Tet catches well but he won't be the threat Evans is unfortunately IMO. It was like drafting Bryce and thinking your getting Wilson. Evans ran a 4.53 40, 7.08 3 cone, 4.26 shuttle and at the combine and not his proday. He was also 12 lbs heavier. If your expecting Evans your going to be disapointed unless you give Tet a bit of a discount on expectations IMO. Lol now it's saying they had Tet as a 4.48 at his proday when people were reporting 4.6+ at that time. It's going to be interesting to see what is real and what is BS. Proday numbers are so rounded in positive directions.
