Seemed like a fair and balanced take, telling us nothing we didn't already know.  Bryce made mistakes.  Our O-Line is really struggling.  Our receivers aren't very good.

We've really got to stop going into seasons with so much dead cap.

Especially on the play being debated in the other thread. He calls the no throw "sickening" and also that he would have been throwing a much bigger tantrum than Thielen does at the end, weeks after giving him poo for putting his hands up when he was open

I’m pretty done with Fitt at this point. I was a supporter of his but the constant trading away of assets to “win now” is really, really starting to show in the team. The handling of the Brian Burns situation is nothing short of an egregious failure and a firable offense in itself

And that’s just the truth 

You can't drop back 50 times a game and win. You can't throw the ball between the LOS and 20 yards out exclusively or the box will stay stacked. You can't expect a rookie QB to go out and win the game for you.

Go back to what made this line look deadly and run under center.

Good point. He absolutely TRASHED Thielen in that week one breakdown.

What???!!! The haters on here are insufferable. Is it REALLY the ONLY reason he went 1st overall? The guy has a pretty damn good combination of smarts, accuracy, speed, agility, arm strength, pocket awareness, pocket presence, communication skills etc. But right, his smarts were the ONLY reason. And yes, just 3 games bro. The NFL is a whole different beast compared to pop warner, middle school, high school and college in case you haven't noticed. I don't know what games you all have been watching but he has actually played pretty decent. Has he made a few mistakes?.... um what quarterback hasn't? Unbelievable the lack of patience and idiocy of some of these fans

Not to pile on but that was the tough one to rewatch.  Remember feeling that he bailed on that when he didn't need to when watching but figured I just didn't notice something with the defense.  Closer look, yeah, needs to improve.  Easy 6.  

Being towards the end of the game, he may have been frazzled at that point, but what is he doing with his dropback there? His footworks antics around 30:38 prevent him from staying steady and being ready for the timing for launching to Thielen.  It's like a weird full body twitch to the left, then multiple skippy toe steps and bails.  Clean pocket, no need to do all that, stand tall, set, and throw. 

He's got skills, not giving up, but it's a legit critique.  We can't have that.

Yes, that was 1 play, after Bryce and the o line had been Cover 0 blitzed to freaking death all game long.  But it seemed like Bryce even saw it still and pumped like he was going to throw the double move, but just didn't.
