Moore confident about return

Since it seems we are losing Rip Scherer to college coaching we should bring in Vinny Testaverde to be our QB coach to mentor Moore...he seem to motivate Deangelo Williams well enough

Loosing Scherer dose not worry me too much. I mean he could never fix what was going on with Delhomme and Moore was good IMO when he got here. What has he really done?

haha, it wouldn't hurt. he is representing the Carolinas. not that he looks like a redneck from the south or anything, but those teeth could use some braces. lol

Matt Moore is set to be a restricted free agent, but he doesn't talk like a guy who plans on being anywhere else.

The tone of the article in general is more of the same from the official site. While there's what I would consider a tip of the hat to Delhomme's prior career, in general there's acknowledgment that his best years are behind him. All the hype and positivity is found in the paragraphs discussing Moore.

Granted, a lot could change between now and then, but my expectation right now is that Moore will start next season. Barring a restructure, Delhomme will be the league's most expensive backup.

Testaverde has said he wouldn't coach anywhere but Tampa (he lives there).
