Moore confident about return

Moore has a lot of upside, but tends to start games slow before he settles in. At this point he needs a solid vet to learn from. IMO delhomme isn't the guy to help develop him. He has much more potential than delhomme and needs a better, cheaper vet.

He's always started games in the Winter. And I thought he started pretty good in the Giants game. He's also never gotten first team snaps until the year is basically over. You give him training game and preseason with the 1s, and the beginning of the season, and we'll see if he still starts slow.

Since it seems we are losing Rip Scherer to college coaching we should bring in Vinny Testaverde to be our QB coach to mentor Moore...he seem to motivate Deangelo Williams well enough ;)

That's actually not a bad idea

agreed.

and Moore has been on the bench for 3 years now? I guess some people think sitting him for 3 more years under a "different, and still not as good as Jake" veteran is a solid idea.

Give him 6 years before you put him in?

Either he learns from 1st team experience, or just get rid of him. Waiting for players to live up to their full potential has killed us in the past as we wait.... and wait... and wait.

^^^ i conquer. Moore is only going to get better with more experience with the first team. that's why he started progressing as the season went on, there at the end. i think he's got as much potential as Aaron Rogers, going into his second year as a starter. they've gotta give the kid a chance. he reminds me of a mix between tom brady and big ben. when he's accurate, he's right on the money, and he knows how to elude defenders!!! MOORE FTW!!!!
