holding them back. a healthy pennington would have been better, but thats an oxymoron.

he was on the delhomme level of turnovers. whats different, they had the best defense to bail his ass out, and a great running game just like us. also helps that the colts and ne laid down.

he does have potential, thats why he was a top 10 pick. same with carr, payton, rivers, eli, and a host of other qbs. i hate trying to judge rookie qbs after 1 season. bring it up in 2011-2012 and lets see how he is doing then.

He held the team back but still has the potential to be good. Jenkins being out is probably the biggest reason the Jets may have been 11-5 rather than 9-7.

I would have sat him, but that's just me.

He has the ability to be good, but it will take a couple of years. They need to make sure that they have a very good OC/QB coach, and don't let him leave for a few years.

Look at the Vikings of last year. They had a great defense and a great running game, but they didn't become a truly legitimate team until Favre came on.
